- Are tickets expected to sell out?
Tickets will likely sell out, so get yours early! Limited quantities are available at each pricing tier.
- Where can I buy tickets?
Our official ticket partners are Paylogic & Festicket. Please make sure to always purchase your tickets via official ticket shops. Our official partners and DJs have ticket links on their websites as well. Our other official ticketing partner is Festicket. All popular events are confronted with fraudulent organizations and people that try to resell tickets above market price, purely for their own benefit. Only official AMF entrance tickets will be accepted and guarantee access to the festival.
- What is the maximum number of tickets I can buy?
Eight tickets is the maximum per customer in one transaction.
- What payment methods can be used to purchase tickets?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
- Can I upgrade my ticket to VIP?
No, unfortunately ticket upgrades are not available. Please consider this when making your booking.
- What is included in my festival ticket?
General admission tickets include access to the main festival area. Party Pit tickets include access to the Party Pit area and main event area. VIP tickets include access to the main area and a dedicated VIP area with a private bar and fast-track entry into the festival site. Note: Drinks and private tables are not included in the ticket price.

- Where is my ticket(s)?
When you buy your tickets online, Paylogic (our official ticketing partner), will send you a purchase confirmation email after your order is processed. Via this email you are able to download your e-tickets.
- Can I access AMF with an ADE pass?
A limited number of ADE pass holders will get free entrance depending on the capacity of the venue. Early arrival is recommended. Please note that as an ADE delegate you need to pick up an additional AMF entrance ticket to access the building, you do not have to pay for this AMF ticket (limited capacity). You can collect this ticket at the ticket point near entrance E of the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
ADE press pass holders are not granted entry to AMF based on the ADE press accreditation. AMF press accreditation is done separately via the Press section of the AMF website.
- What time does the event start & end?
The event starts at 9pm and ends at 6 am the following day. The gates open at 8pm.
- Can I enter anytime or re-enter?
As long as you are holding a ticket that has not yet been scanned on the evening, you may enter any time during the event. Ins & outs are not allowed.
- Will set times get posted in advance?
Yes. During the days leading up to the festival, set times will be posted via this site, our social media sites, and via email updates (sign up for emails at the bottom of this page). Note: The lineup is subject to change.
- Can I see a festival map ahead of time?
Yes. Maps showing stage locations, food, bathrooms, etc. will be available prior to the event on this site and on our social media sites.
- What is the camera policy?
Professional photographers must obtain a photo pass by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not email your request. Photo passes are not required for standard cameras that do not have detachable lenses or handheld video devices under 6″. Professional video cameras are not permitted.
- What can I bring with me?

- Will there be a lost & found?
Yes. Lost & Found services will be available at the venue during and after the event.
- Does the venue have ATM's?
Yes, ATMs will be available both inside and outside the venue grounds. Locations will be clearly marked on the festival map.
- Can I rent a locker?
You can rent a locker on the festival site. Store your stuff securely, and keep your mobile phone powered up all weekend long.
- Is there disabled access?
AMF is accessible to disabled people. We don’t have wheelchair tickets, so please buy the ticket type that matches you the best. Please keep in mind that the access to the Party Pit is by stairs and not accessible for wheelchairs. Feel free to contact us for more information.
- What kind of ID do I need?
You must present identification to enter the festival and/or buy alcohol. See the complete list of acceptable and unacceptable forms of ID.
- What age do I have to be to attend AMF?
AMF is a festival for people of 18 years and older. Everyone attending AMF will be asked to show a valid ID (ID-card, passport or driver’s license) at the entrance. We do not accept photocopies or birth certificates.
- What is the bag policy?
Visitors are allowed to bring a handbag as long as it’s not bigger than the size of an A4 paper (approximately 30x20cm). Any bag bigger than that, for instance backpacks or duffel/weekend bags are not allowed.
- What is the drug policy?
We conduct an absolute zero tolerance policy, and no soft or hard drugs are allowed in the venue. If this rule is not followed, entry to the festival will be denied.
- What airport should I fly to?
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. There are plenty of continental and international flights to the airport.
- How to I get from Schiphol Airport to Johan Cruijff ArenA?
Taxis from the airport cost around €55 and there are also bus and coach options.
- How do I get to AMF?
There are a number of wa to getting to Johan Cruijff ArenA including by foot, taxi or public transport.
As Amsterdam is such a sought after tourist destination, there is a huge selection of quality hotels, villas and apartments to choose from.
- How should I resolve an issue with my hotel?

- What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in and check-out times for hotels and apartments vary. Please consult your accommodation directly.
- How can I safely store belongings?
Most hotels come with safety deposit boxes in the rooms, but some require a nominal fee for their use. Check with your accommodation when booking for information.
- How do I apply for Press Accreditation?
For press accreditation for AMF please send an e-mail to email@example.com with details of your media.
- What is the camera policy for press?
Bringing professional or semi-professional photographic equipment to this event is not allowed unless agreed upon otherwise by means of an assigned press accreditation. Selfie sticks longer than 1 meter are also not allowed. Normal digital or other cameras (like GoPro cameras) are allowed.
